Direct and Group Project Buyer (M/F)

Our temporary staffing agency is looking for a Direct and Group Project Buyer (M/F) for one of our clients. Reporting to the Site Director and the Group Purchasing Director, you will play a key role in defining and implementing the company's purchasing strategy. You will also be required to support and supervise a team.

Your missions:

Your daily routine will be shared between operational purchasing management, negotiation, supplier monitoring, and participation in the purchasing strategy.

You will notably be in charge of:

Ensuring the sourcing and qualification of new suppliers;

Managing a portfolio of direct purchases: raw materials, subcontracting, etc.;

Launching consultations and calls for tender, analyzing offers, and negotiating purchasing conditions;

Negotiating prices, lead times, volumes, and contractual conditions;

Monitoring orders, contracts, and commercial agreements with suppliers;

Evaluating and monitoring supplier performance through various KPI;

Conducting market studies and benchmarking;

Identifying optimization levers and generating savings;

Anticipating and managing supplier risks and potential supply issues;

Acting as the primary contact for internal departments to ensure the follow-up of needs and orders;

Providing support on issues related to the supply chain and supply flows;

Participating in the continuous improvement of purchasing processes;

Supervising, organizing, and leading your team to develop its performance and autonomy.

Your profile:

You have significant experience in purchasing, ideally acquired in an industrial environment and in direct purchases.

You are comfortable in environments where priorities change rapidly and know how to manage multiple subjects in parallel.

Experience with an ERP, ideally SILVERPROD;

Professional English is essential;

Spanish is appreciated / desired.
