We are seeking for a fixed-term employment

HR SPECIALIST

to our finance and administration department for personnel services. The finance and administration department is responsible for statutory HR tasks, organizational support services, and strategic development tasks. The position is a parental leave replacement and is located during the period 9.11.2026-30.9.2027. The exact timing of the replacement is negotiable.

Key tasks of the HR Specialist are:

• handling and advising on employees' employment matters, especially regarding our international employees
• acting as user support and superuser for the HR information systems required for the role
• recruitments and induction
• developing occupational well-being, including e.g., occupational healthcare services, supporting work ability, and well-being benefits
• responsibility for coordinating personnel insurance and instructing on its contents
• orienting and training personnel, especially regarding the occupational well-being package

Additionally, your tasks include developing your own areas of responsibility and related instructions and processes, as well as preparing employment decisions and performing reporting and statistical tasks. The job description can be further specified based on the selected person's expertise, previous experience, and areas of interest.

Working in this position requires:

• diverse experience in personnel matters
• experience with HR information systems and an understanding of the role of information systems in HR work
• suitable higher education
• understanding of Finnish labor legislation and the ability to interpret various contracts applicable to personnel
• competence to develop the instructions and processes included in the job description
• good English language skills

We also value experience in working with international affairs. You are the person we are looking for if you have the ability and interest to learn new things and you have good communication and organizational skills. The position is full-time and begins in November 2026, according to the contract.
