Essential Functions: Own your territory – manage and grow existing accounts while aggressively developing new business

Be in front of customers – uncover needs, recommend solutions, and become a trusted partner

Hunt and grow – source new opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and referrals

Hit the numbers – meet or exceed revenue and margin goals with the support of experienced leadership

Sell solutions, not SKUs – recommend hose, pipe, and related products based on real-world applications

Problem-solve in the field – investigate customer challenges and deliver practical, value-driven solutions

Stay sharp – keep up with industry trends, products, and best practices

Collaborate internally – work closely with operations, customer service, and technical teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience

Stay organized – maintain accurate records, quotes, and customer interactions

Experience, Education and Skills: Experience: 2+ years of industrial sales experience (hose, pipe, fluid power, or related industries preferred).

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (HS Diploma or GED required).

Industry Knowledge: Mechanically inclined and comfortable working in industrial environments. Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory.

Communication: Strong communicator who can build credibility with plant managers, maintenance teams, and buyers.
