Surface Preparation : Clean surfaces, remove old paint, fill cracks and holes with putty or plaster, sand surfaces smooth, and apply primers.

Site Protection : Cover floors, furniture, fixtures, and trim with drop cloths, masking tape, and plastic sheeting to prevent damage. Paint Application : Mix, match, and blend paints, varnishes, and specialty finishes, applying them evenly using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Equipment & Setup : Erect scaffolding, set up ladders, operate motorized lifts, and ensure proper ventilation in work areas. Cleanup and Restoration : Remove protective coverings, reinstall hardware or fixtures, dispose of waste safely, and clean all tools and equipment. Client and Project Communication : Consult with clients or supervisors on color choices, estimate material costs, and coordinate with other construction trades. Safety Compliance : Follow workplace safety regulations, wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators, and maintain a hazard-free workspace.
