Part-Time School Youth Worker with MOE Instructor

Key Responsibilities

📋 1. Programme Management

• Implement structured UPLIFT support initiatives.
• Curate program resources for individual growth.
• Monitor student progress against learning outcomes.
• Conduct twice-weekly check-ins with target students.

🤝 2. Direct Student Support

• Provide guidance to students facing academic challenges.
• Implement early intervention strategies for behavioral needs.
• Conduct conflict resolution workshops for students.
• Mentor students to foster school community engagement.

🗣️ 3. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Update Year Heads and School Counsellors regularly.
• Maintain active communication lines with parents.
• Submit comprehensive reporting to School Leaders termly.
• Coordinate student progress updates with Form Teachers.

Job Requirements

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Education : Degree in Social Work, Counselling, or Psychology.
• Registration : Must be registered with MOE before closing.
• Experience : Minimum 3 years working with at-risk youth.

🧠 Skills & Competencies

• Interpersonal : Warm, patient, and highly empathetic disposition.
• Communication : Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Compliance : Strict adherence to maintaining absolute student confidentiality.

Working Hours & Schedule

• Daily Hours : Mondays to Fridays, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
• Exclusions : No work on weekends or public holidays.
• School Holidays : Not required to work during school holidays.
