ICT & AV Executive (Secondary School-Ang Mo Kio)
Your tasks
Job Description & Key Responsibilities We are looking for a competent and proactive ICT & AV Executive to support the information technology and audio-visual functions within a local secondary school. You will work closely with the school's ICT Manager and HOD/ICT to ensure smooth day-to-day technical and educational operations.
1. ICT Support & Services
- Assist the ICT Manager in managing school-owned and student-owned ICT devices, including asset tracking (loan and return), application installation, basic troubleshooting, and device restoration.
- Supervise onsite Desktop Engineers (DEs) to provide prompt technical support and advice to staff and students regarding laptop issues, password resets, and account matters.
- Coordinate the procurement of ICT equipment and manage liaison with external vendors.
- Support the HOD/ICT and ICT Manager in regular content updating and maintenance of the official School Website.
2. AV Support & Services
- Coordinate vendor operations for the procurement, installation, and maintenance of all school audio-visual systems.
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and programming within the school's Media Studio.
- Support teachers with the setup, testing, and troubleshooting of AV equipment for daily teaching and learning needs.
- Provide comprehensive live and virtual AV support for major school events, including Speech Day, Chinese New Year concerts, weekly assemblies, and Parent-Teacher Conferences.
- Conduct quarterly inventory stock-takes of all AV assets and report any losses or damages.
- Assist teachers-in-charge of the Media Club CCA with logistical and technical support.
- Manage and update the campus TV Messaging System.
- Take, edit, and process photographs of new staff, students, and school events for official publications.
3. ICT Education & Training
- Plan and conduct training sessions for students on various digital tools in alignment with the school’s Digital Education Programme.
- Deliver training sessions for teachers on how to maximize the use of school-subscribed ICT devices and applications.
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Qualifications: Minimum Diploma qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Preferably at least 3 years of coaching or training experience in ICT-related programmes.
- Domain Knowledge: Prior experience operating and maintaining ICT and AV equipment within a school or educational environment is highly advantageous.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Must be a proactive team player who can work independently under minimal supervision.
