Key Responsibilities

  • Front Office & Reception Operations: Handle all visitor interactions professionally, including attending to student needs, parent enquiries, and vendor management. Manage incoming calls and general correspondence.
  • Administrative Support: Perform daily administrative work such as mail handling, document management, data entry, and office organisation. Maintain accurate digital records using Microsoft Excel and school systems.
  • Event & Logistics Support: Provide logistical and administrative help for school activities, with a particular focus on examination periods and special events.
  • General Duties: Assist school leadership by taking on additional duties assigned by Administration Managers, Vice-Principals, and the Principal.

Working Hours & Physical Requirements

  • Location: 2 Tampines Ave 9, Singapore 529564 (Temasek Junior College)
  • Contract Duration: 12-Month Contract (1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027)
  • Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 9 hours per day (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break). Personnel will work on a shift basis depending on the school's needs: Shift 1: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Shift 2: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Physical Condition: The General Office is located on Level 2 with no lift access . Candidates must be physically fit and comfortable climbing stairs as part of their daily routine.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum GCE O-Levels or equivalent certification.
  • Prior experience in school administration or frontline customer service/reception roles is highly advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel for data entry and record maintenance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders (students, parents, vendors, and school staff).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize daily assignments, and learn new office technologies.
  • A pleasant personality, a positive attitude, and a strong willingness to learn.
  • Must be a collaborative team player who can also work independently.

Note: Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an interview conducted by the school authority to assess suitability, operational judgment, and communication skills.
