Fleet Safety Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement fleet safety procedures to ensure the safe operation of company vehicles.
2. Monitor driver behavior, vehicle usage, speeding, and compliance with traffic regulations.
3. Conduct regular vehicle safety inspections and ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
4. Investigate vehicle accidents and safety incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
5. Organize driver safety training and promote safe driving practices.
6. Monitor GPS tracking systems and analyze fleet safety performance.
7. Maintain fleet safety records, vehicle inspection reports, accident reports, and driver compliance documents.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Transport Management, Logistics, Safety Management, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience in fleet management, transport safety, or a similar role.
3. Good knowledge of road traffic regulations, defensive driving, and vehicle safety management in Ghana.
4. Experience in GPS tracking systems, accident investigation, and fleet safety reporting.
5. Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and supervisory skills.
6. A valid driving licence and practical driving experience are preferred.
