Your tasks

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced, locally based professional to support the Project Director across land documentation, project development, construction approvals, commissioning, operational readiness and handover. Successful candidates must exercise sound judgement, develop practical solutions, mobilise relevant expertise and convert stakeholder engagement into verifiable outcomes.

Develop and execute approval plans Identify requirements, authorities, materials, fees and timelines, and maintain an actionable tracker.

Government engagement and inter-agency coordination Build and maintain relationships with federal, state and local authorities, regulators, utilities and stakeholders; resolve cross-departmental issues.

Independent analysis and problem-solving Address delays, disputes, and site issues; propose solutions; assess cost and time impacts; and escalate as needed.

Improve execution speed Use early engagement, parallel preparation, coordinated reviews and inspections, and phased approvals; obtain written confirmations.

Manage external consultants Oversee scope, progress, deliverables and payments; verify records and approvals; recommend corrective actions or replacement where necessary.

Internal coordination and reporting Work with engineering, design, factory, and local teams; translate regulatory requirements into actions; submit weekly reports; and own agreed actions.

Cost and document control Verify official fees, process expenditures within delegated authority, retain invoices and ensure the company retains control of accounts and key records.

Requirements

BSc/MSc in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline

Good communication and analytical skills Good interpersonal skills and exposure to regulatory agencies, particularly within Ogun, Lagos, Abuja and Kano.
