WELDER CUM DRIVER
Your tasks
Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements
- MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminum and stainless steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings
- Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
- Follow, create and help maintain Welding Procedure Specifications
- Weld parts in flat, vertical, and/or overhead positions
- Produce templates and other work aids
- Set up welding cells for serial production runs
- Assemble items as instructed by floor supervisor
- Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
- Follow all company rules and policies
Requirements
- Proven experience as welder (minimum 3G)
- Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (MIG, TIG etc.)
- Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
- Safely operate the bus to transport passengers to their designated destinations.
- Ensure passengers are picked up and dropped off at the correct locations and on time.
- Follow assigned routes, schedules, and traffic regulations.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the journey.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
- Keep the bus clean and ensure it is maintained in good working condition.
- Report any vehicle defects, accidents, traffic incidents, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting when necessary.
- Maintain accurate trip records and complete the required documentation.
- Comply with company policies, road safety requirements, and all relevant regulations.
