Role Overview

  • Own and grow a high-potential product division
  • Drive new business across multiple commercial sectors
  • Strengthen key accounts and maximise revenue
  • Build partnerships through regular customer visits

Key Responsibilities

  • Hold national sales responsibility
  • Generate new business and convert opportunities
  • Identify and secure commercial opportunities
  • Build relationships with contractors, distributors and fit-out companies
  • Manage the full sales cycle
  • Grow existing key accounts
  • Provide technical expertise, upselling and cross-selling
  • Analyse market and competitor activity
  • Deliver presentations and specification meetings
  • Produce written specifications when required
  • Follow up projects to secure orders
  • Report progress at monthly sales meetings
  • Support wider commercial operations

Ideal Candidate Profile

We’re looking for a commercially driven, proactive business developer with a strong track record of winning new customers and opening new markets. You’ll be confident selling into contractors, distributors and specification-led environments, with excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills. You’ll thrive in a target-driven role, be comfortable managing a national territory, and bring strong organisational and communication skills. Knowledge of the construction fit-out sector is beneficial but not essential — attitude, drive and commercial hunger matter most.
