Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities and assignments

See how you can contribute to this position:

• Distribute and direct the flow of activities among your team members;
• Follow up and monitor all activities pertinent to your area of operation, collecting information and generating reports on the evolution of activities;
• Conduct data collection and prepare proposals for the construction of the sector's Budget and its revisions;
• Manage the execution of expenses according to the budget, continuously seeking cost reduction;
• Keep necessary documents for the execution of activities updated and in compliance (Procedures, WI, Check Lists, etc.);
• Maintain vacation scheduling and control of your team's working hours appropriate to the needs of the operations;
• Develop and monitor the achievement of KPIs, proposing and implementing corrective actions when necessary;
• Conduct team performance evaluation activities according to the schedule;
• Monitor the performance and evolution of your subordinates, maintaining an adequate feedback routine;
• Provide support and technical guidance to your subordinates, as well as request specific training whenever required;
• Ensure that all members of your team perform their activities according to standards and procedures;
• Prepare presentations and present the results of the team's activities in Kanban meetings and other committees, when requested;
• Conduct feasibility studies for the implementation of projects to review structure and operation sizing;
• Conduct the planning and implementation of improvement actions (Kaizen);
• Participate in patrols and audits according to area schedules and monitor the fulfillment of action plans for findings; Perform other related activities to the position, as needed by the area or as directed by leadership.

Requirements and qualifications

What you need to have and/or know for this position:

• Completed higher education in Administration, Logistics, or related areas;
• Experience in Internal Logistics, working in Support, Projects, and Shipping;
• Experience in team management;
• Advanced knowledge of Pacote Office;
• Advanced level English;
• Availability to work during administrative hours, in the region of Fazenda Rio Grande/PR.
