Project Analyst - Utilities

Responsibilities and assignments

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS

• Develop and manage projects related to industrial utilities systems, including installation, expansion, retrofit, and infrastructure modernization, focusing on safety, operational reliability, cost reduction, and energy efficiency;
• Act in projects involving utilities systems, such as boilers, air compressors, cooling water systems, HVAC (industrial air conditioning), hydraulic infrastructure, and other systems supporting industrial operation;
• Monitor all project stages, including scope, schedule, costs, quality, communication, and risks, tracking activity progress and proposing corrective actions when necessary;
• Work in the conduct of construction, assembly, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with deadlines, budget, technical requirements, and established quality standards;
• Act together with the Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Safety, Environment areas and external suppliers, identifying interferences and developing technical solutions to ensure project feasibility and efficiency;
• Prepare technical specifications for the acquisition of equipment, materials, and services, in addition to participating in the technical analysis of proposals and procurement processes;
• Plan and monitor field activities, including service scheduling, resource allocation, material control, and supplier management;
• Monitor performance indicators (KPIs), energy consumption, availability, and efficiency of utilities systems, proposing continuous improvement actions to increase operational reliability and reduce costs;
• Develop initiatives focused on energy efficiency, sustainability, and water resource management, contributing to the optimization of industrial processes;
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, applicable regulations, and operational safety requirements, including NRs, ABNT, ASME, and other pertinent standards.

Requirements and qualifications

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed Higher Education in Mechanical Engineering;
• Advanced English and Office Package;
• Experience in management and monitoring of industrial projects focused on utilities systems;
• Knowledge of boiler systems, compressors, cooling water, HVAC, and industrial hydraulic infrastructure;
• Knowledge of technical and safety standards applicable to the industrial environment;
• Availability to work in the Fazenda Rio Grande/PR region.
