Quality Technician M/F (M/F)

SumiRiko Rubber Compounding France (SRK RCF) specializes in the manufacture of compound strips intended for subcontractors in the automotive sector. Our customers can find not only a state-of-the-art mixing process but can also benefit from our expertise in developing innovative formulations.

Due to an upcoming retirement, we are revisiting our internal organization in order to strengthen the quality and safety departments of our site.

Reporting to our QHSE manager, the quality coordinator will be in charge of:

OPERATIONAL QUALITY:

• Acts as the customer quality representative: daily interface, complaint handling, reporting, and proactive communication.
• Driving quality within the production teams (information meetings).
• Ensuring the quality of delivered products.
• Driving the process FMEA and revising process monitoring plans.
• Together with the QHSE manager, defines quality objectives and monitors performance indicators.

CONTROL AND MEASUREMENT:

• Hierarchical manager of the metrology and raw materials technician.
• Ensures the interface with approved external calibration bodies.
• Drives the process.

SYSTEM QUALITY:

• Ensures the compliance of the quality management system with respect to Group standards (IATF 16949, .).
• Drives internal audits; external (including IATF certification) and customer audits.
• Planning, preparation, facilitation.
• Monitoring of deviations and corrective actions.

This position is evolvable.

Profile Description

• Minimum BAC+3 with experience in the automotive industry or equivalent under IATF certification.
• Initial management experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of rubber mixing processes and associated requirements is a plus.
• Technical English (oral and written).
• Ability to listen and communicate with the production workshop and other cross-functional departments.
