Studio Phax is a Singapore-based, design-led architectural practice working across residential, commercial, hospitality and community projects in Singapore and the region. We believe that architecture and interiors should be shaped by people, place and everyday life. We are looking for a creative and motivated Architectural Designer to join our growing team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, design narratives and spatial strategies
• Produce design drawings, diagrams, presentations and visualisations
• Work on spatial planning, façade design, material selection and architectural detailing
• Translate design ideas into clear and compelling presentation materials
• Develop projects from concept design through design development and documentation
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and other project stakeholders
• Participate in design discussions, presentations and project meetings
• Support the team in delivering projects to a high design and presentation standard

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Architecture or a related design discipline
• Strong design sensibility, conceptual thinking and spatial planning skills
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly through drawings, diagrams and presentations
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and relevant rendering or visualisation software
• Good understanding of materials, architectural detailing and composition
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Responsible, proactive and able to manage assigned tasks independently
• Knowledge of Singapore authorities, building regulations and submission requirements will be an advantage
