On behalf of our client, we are now seeking a person who will work and operate from our beautiful capital. The department you will belong to delivers IT solutions to a world-leading retail chain with over 4800 stores. The department is responsible for developing and processing solutions to create an unbeatable shopping experience for the retail chain's customers. By offering global IT service as well as solutions, the department can ensure the stores' sales, expansion, and that they always have the right product at the right price, in the right place at the right time. The service and solutions that this department offers these stores also ensure that the stores have optimized inventory and that the customer always leaves the store satisfied and inspired.

You will be part of a team of 8 people. This team aims to maximize sales by ensuring the right product at the right price, at the right time. The team is responsible for delivering IT service and applications that support global marketing in their work with distribution and replenishment of products, price and PR, as well as sales analyses. The team is also responsible for IT service and applications that ensure the collected sales data achieves high quality and reaches internal stakeholders. Together, the team is also responsible for testing internal releases as well as participating in the final testing of various projects. The tests usually revolve around the receipt and processing of sales data, as well as the distribution of data surrounded by point of sales systems. The team is located at two sites, in India and in Stockholm.

TASKS:

• Read, understand, and provide feedback on needs and specifications
• Handle knowledge transfers and interview relevant people to create an understanding of the tests' function
• Collect tests
• Design test scenarios and cases for different test levels. System tests, integration tests, and acceptance tests.
• Request and set up requested test data, which includes test data for other functional areas
• Configure test tools to create requests and scripts.
• Create test instructions
• Conduct tests on time with accurate reporting of results and problems
• Conduct tests from start to finish, together with other parties in the organization
• Follow up on problems and plans.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have experience in testing and the design of tests, the business system SAP, and who speak English fluently. We also see that you have knowledge and experience of JIRA, ALM/QC, Notepad++ or similar software, as well as Postman or SOAPUI for API testing. You have knowledge and experience of programming and good knowledge of XML. As a person, we would like you to follow the organization's rules and procedures; execute plans with commitment and determination and achieve results with high quality. You are a good communicator and communicate clearly, distinctly, and structurally and have no problems conducting presentations. You speak fluent English. If you also speak Swedish, it is a merit. You are a team player and collaborate effectively with others; share knowledge, experiences, and information; support others in the pursuit of achieving common goals. You make an impression and act as an inspiration to your colleagues. You successfully promote plans and ideas. You are innovative and present new and ingenious ideas and solutions while having organizational awareness and understanding the organization's informal rules and structures.
