Project Manager within Product Commercialization

Do you want to work in an international environment where you get to drive complex projects from idea to finished product? We are now looking for a Project Manager within Product Commercialization for our client.

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving product projects from start to finish. You will become a central point of contact between different functions and ensure that project scope, schedules, requirements, and deliverables are followed up throughout the entire process. The role is suitable for you who thrives with many points of contact, a high tempo, and keeping projects together where multiple functions need to collaborate to reach a common goal.

You will be part of an international team of approximately 17 people with colleagues in, among others, Sweden, Switzerland, and Turkey. The team works with projects spanning a large number of international markets, which means you will have the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders from different countries and functions.

The role involves, among other things, that you:

• Plan, execute, and drive product projects according to set schedules, quality requirements, and processes.
• Coordinate projects within Product Commercialization, including product maintenance and changes of production source.
• Drive projects through the entire process and ensure that activities, milestones, and deliverables are followed up.
• Coordinate regional and local functions such as Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, QA, and Production.
• Ensure that new products can be developed and delivered without risk of supply shortages, unnecessary losses, or increased costs.
• Communicate continuously with internal and external stakeholders regarding the project's scope, requirements, status, and milestones.
• Prepare status reports and follow up on project progress.
• Ensure that new and updated product specifications are ready to enable production and delivery on time.
• Manage several projects in parallel and ensure that the right activities are driven at the right stage.

Projects may, for example, involve launching a new product on a market. In that case, the project needs to, among other things, ensure the business case, production and production site, technical conditions, design and product information, and that the product is ready for launch.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for you who have a structured and solution-oriented way of working and who enjoy taking ownership of your projects. You are used to coordinating several activities simultaneously and find it easy to create structure even when conditions change.

To succeed in the role, we would prefer that you have:

• A relevant university degree.
• At least 3 years of experience in project management, project coordination, and/or Supply Chain.
• Experience in driving or coordinating projects with multiple involved functions and stakeholders.
• Good system proficiency and experience working with large amounts of data.
• Experience of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or similar systems. Experience with, for example, Oracle PLM, Aras, or equivalent is meritorious.
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
• Experience of stakeholder management and handling challenges or situations that require quick decisions.

It is meritorious if you have experience with PMI project management methodology or similar project management frameworks.

As a person, you are responsible, communicative, and unpretentious. You enjoy collaborating with people from different functions and cultures and find it easy to quickly familiarize yourself with new areas. You are stress-tolerant, solution-oriented, and comfortable working with several projects in different phases simultaneously.

Practical information

• Scope: Full-time
• Location: Stockholm
• Assignment length: Approximately 1 year, parental leave cover
• Start: As soon as possible, with a start in October as a possible solution for the right candidate
• Way of working: Hybrid, with approximately 3 days in the office per week. During the first month, you are expected to be at the office daily.
• Working hours: Monday–Thursday approx. 08:00–17:00, Friday until approx. 16:00.
