Junior system developer in Java and C to Tieto

We are looking for software developers, both those who are newly graduated and those who have a few years of experience, for Tieto in Umeå.

The work as a system developer consists of contributing to the development of next-generation mobile networks and its support systems on behalf of the customer. You will be part of a cross-functional team where you work together on systemization, design, and testing. The teams work with agile project methodology and primarily scrum.
The work is characterized by development in Eclipse IDE with a focus on real-time applications in an asynchronous environment with protocol-based communication. The work is carried out in embedded systems and can to some extent be described as hardware-near. However, the ability to work at higher abstraction levels is crucial. Great importance is placed on the ability to analyze and understand the system as a whole.
Your profile We are looking for you who have a degree in Technical Computer Science or an equivalent education. You should have a great interest in programming and a desire to stay up to date with new programming technology. Previous experience from the Telecom industry is meritorious, specifically EMCA. We work in an international environment and therefore it is important that you have very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
Desirable experiences and competencies: ? C/C++ and Java ? Real-time programming ? Embedded systems ? Linux ? Scripting languages, e.g., Perl, Python, etc. ? Software Configuration Management, e.g., Git, Gerrit, ClearCase, Nexus, etc. ? Build tools, e.g., Jenkins, Maven, etc. ? Test automation and continuous integration ? Agile project methodology
