Tax Consultant - Bilingual

Plan, organize, direct, and control the objectives and goals of the tax department, ensuring they are aligned with those of the organization.

• Analyze and supervise the parameters for preparing proposals for potential clients.
• Manage the projects to be carried out (work programs, guides, resource allocation…)
• Ensure the profitability of each project within the department.
• Supervise the work program or procedures defined for the work team (senior consultants).
• Provide technical advice to consultants if the project warrants it (provide guidance regarding technical aspects that must be applied in each project).
• Review the results of the tests and procedures performed by the consultants to verify correct operation with the client.
• Keep partners informed about project progress, service opportunities, and processes.
• Review and analyze hour consumption reports and logs (when required).
• Provide feedback on documentation, final reports, and the presentation of results to the client.
• Drive the development of skills in other team members through continuous technical training of the team in charge.
• Participate in and support talks or seminars where the Firm is invited.
• Seek new business opportunities with current or potential clients.
• Establish good relationships with clients and potential clients.
• Establish timely communication channels and good relationships with the work team.
• Coordinate tasks and the proper development of the tax team.
• Manage and review hour controls and individual planning.
• Analyze and improve the internal processes of the department.
• Manage the department's resources and the team (including motivation, guidance…)
• Follow up on pending items or requests from consultants.
• Ensure that all files (working papers) are properly stored on the firm's server in the division folders.
