At Strohm, you test the limits of composite technology. As a Mechanical Test Technician, you perform extreme pressure tests, build complex test setups, and analyze material strengths. A technical challenge where precision, safety, and innovation come together.

What will you do as a Mechanical Test Technician? In this role, you play a key role in innovative projects where composite tubes and structures are tested to their limits. One day you are inflating tubes up to 3000 bar to perform destructive tests, the next day you are configuring dataloggers and analyzing test results for valuable insights. You work closely with engineers to develop new technical solutions and are responsible for preparing and executing complex tests.

You perform mechanical tests to determine material strengths using tensile and compression testers and perform PQS tests according to specific standards. Using advanced microscopy, you detect delaminations, air bubbles, and structural anomalies. You install test setups such as climate chambers and pressure pumps, monitor long-term tests, and assess test samples for quality. Additionally, you perform preventive maintenance on equipment and actively participate in solving technical challenges. Are you ready for this technical challenge?

• You have a technical MBO education or equivalent level;
• You have experience or interest in mechanical testing and technical systems and possess IT skills, particularly in MS Office (Excel);

• You work accurately and in a structured manner, essential for testing under extreme conditions, and have an eye for detail during sample preparation and data analysis;
• You have a good command of the English language (speaking and writing), are safety-conscious, and function both independently and in a team environment
