Underwriting Manager

As the Underwriting Manager: You'll play a key role in underwriting complex Commercial Combined risks within appetite and authority. You'll work closely with your team, helping to lead, coach and develop their underwriting skills You'll contribute to building and managing broker relationships across the region, focusing on quality, collaboration and continuous improvement You'll be acting as a technical referral point and supporting portfolio performance

The successful Underwriting Manager candidate will have: Experience in Commercial Combined, Property & Casualty or Mid-Market underwriting Skills in leading, coaching and developing colleagues Proven broker relationship and trading experience. A collaborative approach and the confidence to share ideas An organised, thoughtful way of working A commitment to delivering great outcomes for customers and colleagues

The Underwriting Manager will get: Annual salary £75,000 for the right candidate Excellent Performance related bonus. 27 days' holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell annual leave Generous pension with 7.5% employer contribution as standard, which can be matched up to 12% with your input.
