Commercial Account Executive

Your tasks

Take over a substantial existing book of commercial clients as a Commercial Account Executive in Sheffield. You'll be responsible for maintaining those relationships and providing a reliable point of contact for clients' insurance needs, with a salary of £50,000 to £65,000, depending on experience.

This role could suit an established commercial insurance professional who enjoys looking after clients and wants the responsibility of managing a sizeable portfolio. You'll have the opportunity to build on existing relationships and make the book your own.

The opportunity

• Take responsibility for a large inherited portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
• Build strong relationships and understand each client's business and insurance requirements.
• Manage renewals, policy changes and day-to-day client queries.
• Work with insurers and colleagues to arrange appropriate cover and keep accounts running smoothly.
• Provide a consistent, responsive service that supports client retention.

Requirements

Who would suit it?

• An experienced Commercial Account Executive or Account Handler ready to manage a larger portfolio.
• A solid background in commercial insurance broking and client servicing.
• Someone confident managing renewals, insurer discussions and client expectations.
• An organised communicator who follows through and builds lasting client relationships.
