Business Development Manager

Responsibilities:

Identify new business opportunities Develop winning proposals Build strategic partnerships Engage clients and development partners Support resource mobilization to expand the organization's consulting and project portfolio. 

Requirements:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B.Sc. or equivalent) in Food Science and Technology, Nutrition and Dietetics, Biochemistry, Agriculture, Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant disciplines.

Minimum of 6 years of experience within an Agricultural/Food & Nutrition company

A postgraduate qualification (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) and relevant consulting, project management, or research experience will be an added advantage.

Strong analytical, communication, report-writing, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Knowledge of data analysis software, graphic design applications (e.g., CorelDRAW, Canva, Adobe Suite), or digital communication tools will be an added advantage.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Willingness to travel when required. Must have strong IT and Logistics Skills.
