SPECIAL SECURITY REPRESENTATIVE

You will serve as a SPECIAL SECURITY REPRESENTATIVE in the STRATEGIC INTELLEGENCE SECTION of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.

Major duties

• You will be responsible for the management of program strategies and security in order to fully meet the SSP, Navy and DoD policies, programs and procedural requirements as they relate to Special Security Programs.
• You will manage all aspects of the SCI Personnel Security Program providing subject matter expertise to the SSP Strategic Intelligence Section, SSO, and Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO).
• You will manage all aspects of the SCI Physical Security Program in support of the SSP Intelligence Program.
• You will be responsible for coordinating Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) requirements, requests and nominations to be designed, constructed, built, added, modified or changed.
• You will review and process personnel investigation forms to ensure compliance with Navy and DoD directives.
• You will conduct physical security inspections of facilities involved in SCI programs.
• You will advise and support the Senior Leadership for acquisition program requirements, policies, procedures and vulnerabilities throughout the program time line
• You will oversee development of security paperwork, policy enforcement and participate as a team member of the security education and training program.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting in processing routine security clearances and maintaining visitor control logs, conducting basic annual security awareness training for staff, participating in physical security walkthroughs and assisting in the upkeep of SCIF accreditation paperwork under the supervision of the Special Security Officer (SSO), and reviewing draft classification specification forms for administrative accuracy before final approval.
