BPM Technical Lead Camunda 8 - Hybrid

Join a strategic project in the banking sector! We are looking for a BPM Process Technical Lead with solid experience in Camunda 8, capable of combining technical knowledge, solution architecture, and continuous process improvement.
Your tasks
The selected person will be responsible for technically leading a project for a banking institution in Mexico, proposing innovative solutions, optimizing existing processes, and transferring knowledge to business and technology teams.
Main responsibilities
- Technically lead the project and act as the primary interlocutor with the client.
- Design and evolve process automation architectures with Camunda 8.
- Analyze existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements that reduce times and manual tasks.
- Design and supervise the development of job workers, connectors, and integrations with banking systems.
- Define standards for modeling, testing, versioning, and deployment of processes.
- Monitor process performance through Operate and Optimize, establishing improvement indicators.
- Identify opportunities to leverage new Camunda capabilities and define platform evolution strategies.
- Conduct technical and functional workshops, drive knowledge transfer, and promote best practices.
- Ensure that solutions comply with security guidelines and financial sector requirements.
Requirements
Indispensable requirements
- 8 years or more of experience in BPM, automation, and process improvement projects.
- At least 3 years of experience in technical leadership.
- Minimum 3 years working with Camunda, with solid experience in Camunda 8.
- Mastery of BPMN 2.0, DMN, and FEEL for process design and business rules.
- Experience with Camunda 8 components: Zeebe, Operate, Tasklist, Optimize, and Connectors.
- Development of job workers and integration with systems using Java/Spring Boot or Node.js and REST APIs.
- Experience in solution architecture, analysis, and process redesign.
- Experience in the banking or financial sector.
- Ability to conduct workshops, train teams, and establish best practices.
- Communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for proposing ideas to technical and business leaders.
- Intermediate English (B1).
Desirable knowledge
- Official Camunda certification.
- Experience in migrations from Camunda 7 to Camunda 8 or version updates.
- Kubernetes, Helm, and self-managed deployments.
- Kafka or other event-driven architectures.
- Process mining tools, such as Celonis or SAP Signavio.
- Experience in AI applied to processes and decision automation.
- Knowledge of Mexican banking regulation, CNBV, and PLD/FT.
- Experience in creating BPM or automation Centers of Excellence.
- Agile methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
