What counts for us

• Sound know-how in programming and interest in learning new frameworks and technologies, preferably in the backend area
• Technical training in the field of IT or comparable professional experience in the software development environment
• Sound knowledge in programming, preferably in a procedural programming language
• Mastery of the basic functions of SQL
• Communication skills and commitment within the framework of partnership-based teamwork, as well as a proactive and solution-oriented way of working
• Fluent English skills in speaking and writing (at least C1 level), preferably good German skills available

For over 30 years, we have been developing our own corporate ERP system using IBM technologies around System i and RPG. We are looking for reinforcement for our cross-location teams, which cover a variety of system modules. Our top priority is the satisfaction of our users, whether they are accountants, payroll specialists, or commercial employees on the construction site.

• You are responsible for the new development and further development of ERP applications in the various modules of the ERP system with a technological focus on IBM RPG and SQL in a modern development environment.
• This includes supporting requirement analyses as well as developing complex solutions in dynamic project teams.
• You have the opportunity to build up further knowledge in procedural programming and to get to know the extremely powerful System i from IBM.
• Many modern technologies such as web and mobile applications, cloud services, AI solutions, and messaging systems are connected to the system.
• In code reviews and solution design meetings, you share your knowledge with colleagues and are also open to suggestions for improvement.
