Stora Enso Paper AB Kvarnsveden mill is seeking a Maintenance Manager

Stora Enso Kvarnsveden is a modern paper mill located by the Dalälven river in Borlänge. The mill was established in 1900 and the two current machines manufacture uncoated journal paper and improved newsprint. The production capacity amounts to approx. 600,000 tonnes per year. The focus within each production area is high-quality products adapted to the individual customer's wishes.
Description We are now seeking a proactive and communicative Maintenance Manager who is attracted to and motivated by both strategic and operational maintenance and mechanical engineering issues that lead and develop the mill forward!
As Maintenance Manager, you will be part of the mill's management group and you will have overall responsibility for the three sections consisting of mechanical maintenance, automation, and Technical projects. There are a total of 125 employees in the department.
In your daily work, you initiate and drive improvement work within maintenance. You are responsible for the department's safety, quality, and cost, as well as for the delivery of maintenance and technical support to the mill's production parts such as paper and pulp production, energy supply, as well as packaging and warehouse. You also have contact with external suppliers in the field and work systematically with rationalization and improvement of production processes, machines, and equipment for increased availability and operational reliability. You are responsible for ensuring the department's staffing and competence, as well as for the follow-up of key performance indicators within your area of responsibility.
In your role as a member of the management group, you are expected to contribute to the mill's performance as a whole and constitute one of several important cogs in the team. You will also be part of networks with colleagues at other Stora Enso mills, both within the division and with other divisions within and outside Sweden. The work involves ensuring that we have modern and efficient maintenance that creates the conditions to deliver good profitability for the mill and the division.
Qualifications We are looking for you with a technical education at university or college level. You are an experienced leader with the ability to develop organization and working methods with good results. We would prefer if you have previous experience of leading maintenance work within the process industry.
As a person, you have your own drive to constantly develop yourself. Furthermore, you are an attentive team player who is clear in your communication.
Fluent in the English language; both spoken and written.
