Stora Enso, Hylte Bruk is a newsprint and biocomposite producer belonging to the Paper and Wood divisions. The mill, located in the Halland forests, supplies customers with renewable materials worldwide. Just over 400 employees from over 80 different professional categories work at the mill. Our goal is to replace fossil materials with products based on wood and other renewable materials.
Description For our purchasing department, we are now seeking a responsible and inspiring leader. In this role, we offer you an exciting and varied everyday life where you will lead and develop the work and the employees within the purchasing department.
As Purchasing Manager, you are the process owner for the purchasing process and have the overall responsibility for all purchasing activities at Hylte Bruk. The role involves working to evaluate supply needs and identifying opportunities for efficiencies and improvements in the organization's purchasing patterns, budget responsibility, work environment responsibility, and salary and development responsibility for the purchasing department. Together with the purchasing team, you ensure that the purchasing processes are conducted in line with Stora Enso's and Hylte Bruk's processes and quality goals.
In the role, you will have continuous contact with Stora Enso's central purchasing as well as with other purchasing managers within the group.
Qualifications You have a post-secondary degree in a relevant field, and we would prefer if you have experience in leadership, working as a technical expert purchasing negotiator, or other experience deemed equivalent.
To succeed in the role, good knowledge of the corporate language English is required, as well as good analytical ability and that you are meticulous in your work. We expect goal-oriented management and a strong team spirit. It is therefore important that you are a natural leader and team player with good collaborative skills, while also being able to work independently and having the courage to make decisions. Furthermore, you are driving and proactive in your thinking and enjoy working strategically to meet future challenges.
Working hours are during the day and the position is full-time with immediate commencement.
