Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and procurement plans for commercial interior Lead the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and procurement strategies for commercial interior design projects (up to ~20,000 sqft), ensuring financial efficiency and project feasibility.

Oversee material take-offs and the preparation of bills of quantities (BOQ) to ensure accurate cost planning.

Evaluate, negotiate, and finalize contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve optimal cost and quality outcomes.

Manage and track project expenditures, progress claims, and variations, proactively identifying and addressing cost-related risks.

Collaborate closely with project managers, designers and contractors to ensure budgets align with design specifications while maintaining project profitability.

Review and assess contract terms, manage progress payments and oversee final account settlements with subcontractors and clients.

Conduct site visits and audits to verify work progress, ensure compliance with contractual agreements and mitigate potential disputes.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions to enhance project efficiency without compromising quality.

Ensure full compliance with Singapore’s building codes, contracts, and procurement regulations, providing expert advice on regulatory requirements.

Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors, fostering a culture of excellence in cost management and contract administration. Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in a design & build, commercial interior fit-out or construction environment.

Familiar with cost estimation, quantity take-offs, tender preparation, quotation evaluation and project cost control.

Able to prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, quotations, progress claims and variation orders.

Good understanding of construction materials, specifications, drawings and project requirements.

Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Able to manage multiple projects, work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
