Location: Banbury Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum Type: Permanent Sector: Manufacturing / Industrial Shifts: Days, Early finish at 1pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities Coordinator to join a busy industrial/manufacturing environment in Banbury.

Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the safe, efficient and compliant operation of the site , coordinating facilities, maintenance, contractors, compliance activities and workplace services.

The Role As Facilities Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities across the site.
  • Monitoring building systems including HVAC, lighting, fire protection, security, plumbing and utilities.
  • Coordinating repairs and maintenance requests and ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
  • Managing external contractors and service providers, including reviewing risk assessments, method statements and permits to work.
  • Supporting statutory inspections and health & safety compliance activities.
  • Coordinating fire safety equipment inspections, emergency lighting tests and workplace inspections.
  • Maintaining accurate facilities, maintenance and compliance records.
  • Managing site services including cleaning, waste disposal, pest control, grounds maintenance and security.
  • Supporting procurement of maintenance materials and services and monitoring facilities expenditure.
  • Assisting with supplier management and purchase order processes.
  • Supporting office moves, workspace planning and facility improvement projects.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, sustainability and workplace standards.
  • Supporting energy reduction and environmental improvement initiatives.
  • Participating in continuous improvement projects and audits.

About You We are looking for an organised and proactive individual with previous experience in facilities, maintenance, office services or property management , ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

You will have:

  • A good understanding of health, safety and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with contractor management and permit-to-work systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • A customer-focused and team-oriented approach.
  • A continuous improvement mindset.
  • Accountability and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications & Experience Ideally, you will hold:

  • IOSH Managing Safely or a similar health & safety qualification.
  • A Facilities Management qualification , such as IWFM or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
