This is the task:

• Ensuring the timely and proper preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Carrying out cost controlling as well as acting as a Business Partner for the specialist departments at the location
• Preparation of financial planning (P&L, balance sheet, and liquidity) as part of annual planning, intra-year forecasts, and medium-term planning
• Responsibility for the coordination and management of the annual planning and forecast processes within the organization
• Preparation of meaningful variance analyses as well as derivation of recommendations for action for management and the executive board
• Central contact person for the Internal Control System (IKS) with responsibility for the implementation, monitoring, and auditing of relevant controls
• Cross-module Key-User function for SAP FI/CO
• Central contact person for accounting questions
• Management and monitoring of investment management
• Close international cooperation within the regional finance organization

What we desire:

• Successfully completed commercial studies with a focus on Finance, Controlling, or a comparable vocational training
• Several years of professional experience in a similar function/industry environment, experience in collaborating at Senior Management level
• Very good PC user skills (MS Office package), SAP S4 HANA knowledge (FI/CO) as well as knowledge of reporting tools (especially SAP Analytics Cloud)
• Very good English skills in spoken and written form
• Analytical thinking, entrepreneurial thinking and action, high professional competence
• Resilience, assertiveness, and high communication skills.
