QA ENGINEER (Variable bonus)

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead and responsible for full spectrum of the Company’s quality standard
• Issue, maintain and file all QA related reports (e.g. 8D report, IQC report, MRB report, etc.)
• Ensure maintenance of proper records pertaining to QA
• Liaise with Production Team on quality issues (e.g. UAI parts)
• Liaise with Purchasing/Supply Chain Team on vendors MRB
• Ensure timely closure and response of all QA issues
• Ensure effective corrective action taken for all NCR/CAR issued
• Follow up with vendors/Purchasing/Supply Chain Teams on their corrective action for rejected parts
• On-site audit at vendor’s location whenever required
• Conduct FA inspections and ensure all relevant FAI and test reports are provided
• Issue, maintain and file FAI and test reports
• Maintain and upkeep Quality Management System and Quality System Procedure in accordance to ISO9001
• Participate in Annual ISO Audits
• Participate in UL Audits
• Prepare QA reports for management review

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Electronics Engineering
• At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in a semiconductor industry
• Possess knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001
• Possess knowledge of UL508A, Semi F47 and Semi S2 would be an added advantage
• Knowledge on QAD ERP system would be an added advantage
• Resourceful and able to work independently
• Good at problem solving, negotiating and communicating
• Result-oriented
• Team player
