Stiftung Schönau is a real estate company based in Heidelberg. It generates revenue from approximately 21,000 hereditary building rights and lease agreements, the rental of nearly 1,000 apartments, investments in real estate funds, and the management of 7,600 hectares of forest to fulfill its foundation's purpose.

For several years, Stiftung Schönau has been providing areas for wind energy plants and PV systems. In doing so, it actively contributes to climate protection and supports the transformation towards a more resilient society that is less dependent on fossil fuels. In the course of the energy transition, the demand for areas for the production of renewable energies has increased significantly, so that Stiftung Schönau intends to further intensify its commitment.

Business Development Manager / Project Manager (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Development of the Renewable Energies business field for the foundation
• Further development of the business field strategy based on the foundation's land holdings
• Project initiation and marketing to potential developers
• Internal project control
• Contract negotiations with cooperation partners and project developers
• Evaluation of investment options
• Ensuring close, cross-departmental cooperation with the Forestry and Real Estate departments
• Establishing and maintaining contact with cooperation partners and church or public interest groups

Your Profile

• Degree in a technical or business administration course of study, preferably with a specialization in energy economics or renewable energies
• Relevant professional experience in sales or in the project development of customer solutions in the energy sector
• Strong interest and self-motivation to actively shape the energy transition
• Analytical and strategic mindset
• High communication skills and negotiation skills
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Proficient in handling MS365, ERP and GIS
