About the company

At ALPINA, we continue to grow and we want to add new talent to our team! We are looking for a Product and Packaging Designer, with a focus on the customization and development of imported products, mainly from suppliers in Asia. We are looking for professionals in Graphic Design or Industrial Design who can combine creativity, technical knowledge, and attention to detail to transform catalog products into our own brand products, from design to manufacturing and commercialization.

Your tasks

Brand identity design and adaptation Adapt and develop applications of the ALPINA visual identity on different products, considering materials, surfaces, and manufacturing processes. Design vector files of logos and graphic elements for application via screen printing, pad printing, laser engraving, labels, injected labels, reliefs, and other marking systems. Define locations, dimensions, Pantone colors, and finishes, preparing final artwork with production specifications. Review photographs and pre-production samples to verify that applications respect the approved designs.

Packaging design and development Design boxes, blisters, labels, sleeves, manuals, and inserts for various product lines. Adapt designs to dies and manufacturer specifications, preparing final files with bleeds, color separations, and overprints. Develop proposals that consider commercial presentation, protection, storage, and distribution. Incorporate technical and legal information for commercialization in Argentina: Spanish text, country of origin, importer data, certifications, and applicable warnings. Adapt designs to different sales channels: shelf, e-commerce, and logistics packaging.

Product development and customization Participate in the customization and improvement of catalog products from international suppliers, proposing changes in design, colors, materials, finishes, accessories, and product features. Prepare technical data sheets with dimensions, materials, colors, tolerances, and manufacturing specifications. Generate renders and mockups to validate developments before starting production. Analyze samples and prototypes, verifying that they meet the defined characteristics and coordinating necessary adjustments.

Coordination with international suppliers Maintain communication in English with manufacturers and overseas suppliers to transmit requirements, share files, and resolve technical queries. Perform follow-up on samples, printing tests, and first productions, verifying the correct application of brand and packaging. Coordinate corrections and adjustments until the approved result for manufacturing is achieved. Monitor development and production deadlines, considering time differences and calendars of the supplier countries, including holiday periods and recesses such as Chinese New Year and Golden Week. Organize and keep design files, technical data sheets, and versions of each product and purchase order updated.

Marketing materials Develop visual resources and graphic pieces for product presentation in different sales channels. Adapt designs to e-commerce needs, commercial publications, and exhibition. Coordinate the generation of EAN barcodes, SKU labels, and product references together with the commercial and operational areas.
