Foreign Trade and Import Analyst

At ALPINA we continue to grow and are looking to hire a Foreign Trade and Import Analyst to join our team.

We are looking for an analytical, organized, and proactive person, with experience in import operations, cargo tracking, and document management, who can operate by coordinating with customs brokers, suppliers, and various internal areas.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage and track import shipments.
• Prepare, control, and send the corresponding documentation to the customs broker.
• Maintain communication and follow-up with forwarders, customs brokers, and various actors involved in the operations.
• Perform the calculation and analysis of costs associated with each import shipment.
• Register and update operations in the management systems.
• Use Tango Importaciones or similar systems for tracking operations.
• Prepare reports and information analysis for the area.
• Use advanced Excel for data analysis, tracking, and control.
• Generate and analyze reports using Power BI.
• Maintain communication with customs brokers, suppliers, and other actors involved in the operations.
• Detect deviations or inconsistencies in documentation, costs, and operations, performing the corresponding follow-up.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Foreign Trade and Imports.
• Experience in management and tracking of import shipments.
• Experience in handling Foreign Trade documentation and contact with customs brokers.
• Knowledge of import costs.
• Proficiency in Tango Importaciones or similar management systems.
• Advanced Excel.
• Proficiency in Power BI.
• Intermediate/advanced English.
• Analytical capacity, organization, and attention to detail.

Work modality:

• Monday to Friday.
• Hybrid modality 4x1: 4 days in-person and 1 day of home office.
• Full-time schedule.
