Supplier Development Engineer (m/f/d) (Engineer - Materials Science)

We are looking for a:

Supplier Development Engineer (m/f/d)

for a very important customer of ours.

Your Task

• Development, qualification, support, and evaluation of international suppliers
• Negotiation of quality assurance agreements with ppm target values
• Planning, preparation, execution, and follow-up of process and product audits, including tracking of corrective actions and effectiveness
• Evaluation of quality deviations and methodical monitoring of corrective and preventive actions
• Identification and implementation of supplier development programs
• Organizing process/quality optimization and cost reduction measures
• Evaluation of manufacturability analyses
• Execution of risk assessments (process analysis) and capacity analyses
• Leading action plans and monitoring implementation in the purchasing area to ensure compliance with the management system

Your Profile

• Successfully completed studies
• Sound knowledge of standards in Automotive (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001)
• Relevant experience with quality management methods
• Qualification to conduct external audits according to IATF 16949
• Business fluent English
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Proficiency with MS-Office and SAP
