The position:

As part of the reinforcement of its Product Development department, our client, a recognized player in the aeronautics and space sectors, is looking for a Development Engineer M/F.

You will work on the development of electromechanical equipment and systems for onboard fluid management.

Main missions:

• Define technical architectures and design choices.
• Specify components and sub-assemblies (electric motors, controllers, dynamic seals, etc.).
• Perform or manage sizing calculations and technical analyses.
• Establish test plans and coordinate associated activities.
• Design or supervise the creation of test benches and development tooling.
• Participate in testing and write technical reports.
• Implement continuous improvement actions for products.
• Compile the justification files necessary for qualification and certification activities.
• Elaborate technical documentation and airworthiness maintenance documentation.
• Work in interface with project, quality, industrialization, and client teams.

Profile sought:

You are passionate about product development in demanding technical environments and wish to work on high value-added projects.

Technical skills:

• Development of mechanical or electromechanical products.
• Fluid mechanics applied to onboard systems.
• Product development, validation, and qualification processes.
• Mechanical, vibratory, thermal, and/or CFD calculations.
• Execution and exploitation of tests.
• Use of SolidWorks.
• Professional English, written and oral.

Appreciated skills:

• Knowledge of aeronautical hydraulic or fluidic equipment.
• Mastery of the DO-160 standard.
• Knowledge of LabVIEW.
• Experience in aeronautical or space programs.
