Instrument and Sound Designer (m/f/d)
starting immediately, either on-site in Hamburg or remote.
Your challenge Design and maintenance of existing and new digital software instruments Creation of sound content (e.g., presets, audio samples, MIDI loops, and patterns) Implementation of instrument functionality using scripting Identifying and implementing creative optimization approaches in production (e.g., batch processing, automation via scripting) Supervision, quality assurance, and acceptance of content suppliers (external and internal)
What you bring to the role Completed university degree in Audio Engineering or (technical) university degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or comparable training At least 3 years of professional experience desirable Sound knowledge of sound design (e.g., mixing of sounds) Experience in handling scripting languages Experience in planning sound content projects, including and especially with external suppliers Good knowledge of technologies in the digital audio and music field (MIDI, VST, etc.) Interest in the music industry and sound knowledge in the field of digital music products Good knowledge of agile software development methodologies Good written and spoken English skills round off your profile
