Elevator & Escalator Technician

Elevator Technician We are looking for a hardworking and responsible  Elevator Technician  to join our team. The successful candidate will carry out maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and installation works for lifts/elevators at various sites. Candidates with better credentials may be considered for higher level position. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing and preventive maintenance of lifts/elevators.

Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.

Attend to lift breakdowns and carry out necessary rectification works.

Perform installation, replacement and upgrading of lift components and equipment.

Conduct testing and checking after repair or installation works to ensure proper and safe operation.

Maintain proper service and repair records.

Comply with company procedures and applicable workplace safety requirements.

Attend to other technical duties and site works as assigned.

Participate in the  after-office-hours callback/standby roster , including attending to emergency lift breakdowns when called upon.

Requirements Relevant experience in the lift/elevator industry is  preferred , particularly in maintenance, troubleshooting, repair or installation.

Hardworking, responsible and willing to perform hands-on technical work.

Able to troubleshoot problems independently and work as part of a team.

Willing and able to work beyond normal office hours when rostered for callback/standby duty.

Valid motorcycle licence is required.

Having your  own motorcycle is an advantage .

Able to travel between different job sites as required.

Working Arrangement The position involves regular daytime servicing, repair and installation work, together with scheduled  after-hours callback standby duties . Technicians on standby must be contactable and prepared to attend to breakdowns or emergency calls when required.
