Responsibilities and assignments 🎯 Position Mission

Your tasks

We are looking for a professional to lead the Center of Excellence (COE) for the Windows and Infra Servers discipline, acting as a strategic, technical, and people development reference. The COE Leader will be responsible for strengthening the team's technical competencies, promoting the evolution of the discipline, and ensuring the excellence of deliveries, acting in partnership with the Client Face, who is responsible for account management. Mandatory language: fluent English or fluent Spanish, considering interaction with clients and nearshore/LATAM teams. To be the main technical and people reference for the discipline, developing professionals, strengthening competencies, establishing excellence standards, and supporting talent allocation according to client and business needs.

Requirements

Requirements and qualifications Main responsibilities People management: develop talent, monitor career plans, promote technical mentoring, continuous training, and professional retention. Technical governance: define, implement, and maintain standards, frameworks, processes, and best practices of the discipline. COE Leadership: organize and lead the team, ensuring the evolution of technical competencies and delivery capacity. Technological evolution: structure the discipline's roadmap, monitor trends, encourage certifications, and promote the adoption of Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions, automation, self-healing, and knowledge libraries. Capacity management: support capacity planning and professional allocation according to client demands. Strategic relationship: act in partnership with the Client Face and stakeholders, contributing with the technical and strategic vision of the discipline.

Technical requirements Solid experience with Windows Server environments (2016 to 2025), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and PKI. Knowledge in hybrid identity environments, especially Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD). Experience with virtualization and hyperconvergence: VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Nutanix. Knowledge in clusters, high availability, and server infrastructure. Experience with server hardware from manufacturers Dell, HPE, and Lenovo. Experience with patching and hardening, using tools such as WSUS, MECM/SCCM, and Intune. Knowledge in automation with PowerShell, monitoring, and Windows workloads in Cloud environments, especially Azure. Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams. Ability to define standards, processes, and conduct technical governance. Good communication and articulation with stakeholders and Client Faces.

Mandatory requirements Pricing and technical proposals: experience in building proposals and technical sizing of services, considering effort, seniority, and team composition. AI applied to infrastructure: experience or practical involvement with Artificial Intelligence applied to infrastructure operation, including event correlation, log analysis, assisted PowerShell script generation, and AI-supported troubleshooting and copilots. Language: fluent English or fluent Spanish.

Certifications related to the discipline The certifications below are technical qualification references and may strengthen the professional's fit for the position: Microsoft – Windows Platform and hybrid environments Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800 + AZ-801). Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104). Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305). Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert (MS-102), especially for scopes involving Microsoft 365 and Exchange. Virtualization and hyperconvergence VMware VCP-DCV or VCP-VCF. Nutanix Certified Professional – Multicloud Infrastructure (NCP-MCI). Backup and continuity Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE). Commvault Certified Professional.

Differentials Microsoft certifications, especially Azure Administrator and Windows Server Hybrid Administrator. VMware VCP and Nutanix certifications. Knowledge in Microsoft 365 and Exchange. Experience with backup and continuity solutions, such as Veeam and Commvault. Experience in Datacenter to Cloud migration projects. Knowledge in ITIL 4 Foundation and, preferably, ITIL 4 Managing Professional. Cloud fundamentals, such as AZ-900 or AWS Cloud Practitioner. Artificial Intelligence fundamentals, such as AI-900 (Azure AI Fundamentals) or AWS AI Practitioner.
