Your tasks

🎯 Position Mission We are looking for a professional to lead the Networks Center of Excellence (COE), acting as a strategic, technical, and people development reference in the disciplines of networks, connectivity, and network security. The COE Leader will be responsible for strengthening the team's technical competencies, promoting the evolution of the discipline, and ensuring the excellence of deliveries, acting in partnership with the Client Face, who is responsible for account management. Mandatory language: fluent English or fluent Spanish, considering interaction with clients and nearshore/LATAM teams. To be the main technical and people reference for the Networks discipline, developing professionals, strengthening competencies, establishing excellence standards, and supporting talent allocation according to client and business needs.

Main responsibilities

• People management: develop talent, monitor career plans, promote technical mentoring, continuous training, and professional retention.
• Technical governance: define, implement, and maintain standards, frameworks, processes, and best practices of the discipline.
• COE Leadership: organize and lead the team, ensuring the evolution of competencies and delivery capacity.
• Technological evolution: structure the discipline's roadmap, monitor trends, encourage certifications, and promote the adoption of AIOps, automation, and self-healing solutions.
• Capacity management: support capacity planning and the allocation of professionals according to client demands.
• Strategic relationship: act in partnership with the Client Face and stakeholders, contributing with the technical and strategic vision of the discipline.

Requirements

Technical requirements

• Solid experience in networks, routing, and switching: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN/STP, LAN/WAN, and Wi-Fi.
• Knowledge of technologies and manufacturers such as Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba.
• Experience with SD-WAN, Datacenter (Spine-Leaf, VXLAN/EVPN, ACI), and load balancers (F5 and Citrix ADC).
• Knowledge in network security: NGFW, VPN, NAC, and Cloud networks, with Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Check Point solutions.
• Experience in leadership, management, or mentoring of technical teams.
• Experience in defining standards, processes, and technical governance.
• Ability to build relationships and articulate with stakeholders and Client Faces.

Mandatory requirements

• Pricing and technical proposals: experience in building proposals and sizing services, considering effort, seniority, capacity, and team composition.
• AI applied to networks and AIOps: experience or practical involvement with assisted operation, anomaly detection in telemetry, and NetDevOps automation, using tools such as Mist AI, Cisco AI, Ansible, and Python.
• Generative AI: knowledge or experience with LLMs and copilots applied to configuration and log analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), documentation, and ChatOps.
• Knowledge in prompt engineering and AI governance, considering sensitive data protection, guardrails, and human validation.
• Professional certification: hold a professional-level certification in networks or security, according to one of the tracks below:
• Routing and Switching: CCNP Enterprise or JNCIP-ENT.
• Network Security: PCNSE, Fortinet FCSS Network Security (formerly NSE 7), Check Point CCSE, or CCNP Security.
• Language: fluent English or fluent Spanish.

Differentials

• Expert-level certifications: CCIE, JNCIE, or Fortinet FCX.
• Experience with networks for AI/GPU clusters, including RoCE and InfiniBand.
• Knowledge in GenAI traffic security, SASE, and DLP.
• Experience with Zero Trust architecture.
• Knowledge of DDI solutions.
• Experience with IPv6.
