The Project Manager must demonstrate solid technical knowledge and business vision, possess solid knowledge of project development processes and/or SDLC, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities may evolve as the organizational strategy evolves.

Responsibilities and attributions

Candidates must be able to navigate ambiguous environments and be responsible for the following:

• Successfully manage several simultaneous projects
• Manage project deliverables, including the technical solution, implementation, support, and quality.
• Understand and participate in the multiple phases of project implementation.
• Collaborate with portfolio teams, application owners, enterprise architecture, and various IT and business teams to prioritize work and timelines.
• Review project team deliverables to ensure quality (design walkthrough, test results, etc.) and compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Interact with clients to understand their business and respond to their needs based on business and technical knowledge.
• Educate and influence others, including project sponsors, other project managers, and project team resources.
• Define and execute project plans and report on project status, issues, progress, budget, etc., to the corresponding service owners/management, including project review meetings and dashboards.

Requirements and qualifications

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of project development and implementation processes.
• Strong presentation, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and influence skills.
• Demonstrated experience in successful project execution.
• Solid practical knowledge of the systems development life cycle and project management processes.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, negotiation, and business vision skills.
• Must be able to communicate orally and in writing in English.
• Solid knowledge of ITIL fundamentals

Essential:

• More than 5 years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) sector, managing technology projects, preferably with experience in cloud environments.
• Hold at least one current certification in project management, such as PMP, Prince2, or Scrum Master (this requirement is indispensable).

Additional information

The Project Manager is required to visit the client's offices 4 times a month in Santa Fe, Mexico City.
