N3 Specialist / CSIRT

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist N3 / CSIRT with experience in SOC operation and security incident response. Only for Residents in Peru!!

Responsibilities and attributions

Main functions:

• Investigation and response to cybersecurity incidents.
• Analysis of complex alerts and technical escalation.
• Threat Hunting and threat analysis.
• Specialized technical support to N1 and N2 analysts.
• Preparation of technical and executive reports.
• Continuous improvement of use cases, procedures, and security controls.

Required knowledge:

• Security incident management.
• SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar or similar).
• EDR/XDR (Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike or similar).
• Networks and protocols TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP and VPN.
• Windows, Linux and Active Directory.
• Firewalls, IDS/IPS and monitoring tools.
• Threat Hunting concepts and threat analysis.
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or Python).

Desirable certifications or courses:

• Security+
• Google Secops
• CySA+
• SC-200
• ITIL Foundation
• Equivalent certifications in security or from manufacturers.

Requirements and qualifications

Professional in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications or related fields, with a minimum of +6 years of experience in Cybersecurity areas, of which 4 years (minimum) must have been in SOC operation and having managed incident desks. Bilingual (Spanish-English). Certifications such as the following will be valued:

• Security+
• Google Secops
• CySA+
• SC-200 or similar
