COORDINATOR PLANNING FOREIGN (F/M/X)

STEF is looking for its location in Oostkamp, with 300 employees and a specialist in the distribution of goods under controlled temperature on an (inter)national level, for a Coordinator Planning Foreign (F/M/X) for a permanent contract.

Your role?

You report directly to the Transport Manager and are responsible for the daily management of three international planning teams. You ensure that operational activities run smoothly and simultaneously contribute to the further optimization of the international transport organization.

Operational management

• You manage three planning teams daily, consisting of the planners Germany, France and resources planner.
• You intervene when operational challenges arise and monitor the continuity of service.
• You ensure that the planning is carried out efficiently and with quality by your team.

Process optimization

• You analyze structural bottlenecks within the planning and develop improvement actions.
• You optimize processes around loading and unloading locations.
• You strengthen the cooperation with the international STEF locations, primarily in France.
• You think along about more efficient working methods and implement improvements in practice.

Analysis and reporting

• You monitor operational KPI's and analyze results such as percentage of empty kilometers, completed trips and return flows.
• You process reports in Excel and translate them into concrete improvement actions.
• You organize periodic team meetings in which results and points for improvement are discussed.

People management

• You lead a team of 12 planners with diverse profiles and experience levels.
• You draw up training plans and guide the further development of your employees.
• You create an environment in which cooperation, structure and responsibility are central.

Your profile?

• You have experience within transport, logistics or planning.
• You are analytically strong and derive energy from optimizing processes.
• You are a coaching leader who can manage different personalities.
• You communicate smoothly with various internal and external stakeholders such as your own team and customers.
• Knowledge of German and/or French is a strong asset. You also possess a good knowledge of English.
• You work fluently with Excel. Experience with BlueJay is an asset.
