Tasks:

• Develop and guide the behaviour of farm animals.
• Examine milking operations to ensure adherence to safety regulations or standards.
• Handling animals.
• Monitor the calving process.
• Monitoring animal health.
• Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving.
• Raise and breed livestock and poultry.
• Perform general farm duties.
• Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers.

Equipment and machinery experience:

• Automated manure handling or storage system.
• Feeding and watering system.
• Milking system (automated).
• Tractor.

Area of specialization:

Cattle breeding.

Security and safety:

• Criminal record check.
• Driver's validity licence check.
