Hotel Cashier

Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

Minimum of one (1) year of cashiering experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Computer literacy and experience using POS systems are an added advantage.

Strong numerical, communication, and customer service skills.

High level of honesty, integrity, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Receive and process customer payments (cash, M-Pesa, cards, etc.).

Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.

Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system.

Balance daily cash collections and prepare reconciliation reports.

Provide excellent customer service.

Handle payments for the Amusement Park, Animal Park, Swimming Pool, Restaurant, and other hotel services.
