Your tasks

• Assemble prefabricated parts.
• Collect, record and summarize inspection results.
• Set up and adjust production machineries/tools.
• Assemble circuit breakers, switches or other electrical control equipment and position and fasten components into assembly casings.
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Check products for visual defects and faulty electrical and mechanical connections.
• Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality.
• Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies.

Requirements

Education College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience.

Equipment and machinery experience

• Power tools.
• Screw machines.
• Testing.

Area of work experience

• Bench.
• Electrical control equipment.
• Finished electrical products.
• Subassemblies.
• Wiring.
