Company Overview
Starseed is a wholesaler and importer-exporter of computer and IT peripherals and home appliances, operating from Ubi Techpark with a small team. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9: 30am to 6:30pm.
Job Summary
Manage shipping operations by preparing export documents, coordinating with freight forwarders, suppliers, customers, and shipping agents to ensure accurate and timely shipment processing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit shipping documents to the Bank to support export transactions
- Communicate proactively with freight forwarders to track and manage all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Coordinate efficiently between suppliers, customers, and shipping agents to organize shipment procedures without errors
- Apply knowledge of freight forwarding processes to ensure compliance and smooth shipment flow
- Manage export document preparation including letters of credit and related paperwork
- Utilize familiarity with ocean freight and air freight logistics to optimize shipment handling
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Knowledge of freight forwarding, export document preparation, and shipment management
- Familiarity with ocean freight and air freight operations
- Understanding of letters of credit and export financing documentation
