Senior Payroll System Specialist - Mepco

We are now looking for a Senior Payroll System Advisor to strengthen our team.
What is it about?
We are looking for an experienced Mepco expert to strengthen our Payroll development and implementation team. In this role, you will combine Mepco expertise, system development, and customer projects into diverse specialist work. In this position, you will utilize your understanding of the overall payroll process and act as support for customers in the development and implementation of system solutions.
You will be responsible for new customer implementations, developing payroll solutions and processes, and designing automations and integrations that improve our customers' operations. What is promised?
Daily work consists of new customer implementations, designing solutions, and the continuous development of payroll processes. You will work closely with customers and get to influence how modern, efficient, and scalable payroll solutions are built. In this role, you will utilize your understanding of the payroll whole in identifying customer needs and designing functional solutions. Additionally, you will act as an internal expert and support payroll specialists with questions regarding the system, processes, and solutions.
You will be given responsibility for diverse Mepco super-user tasks, the design of integrations and automations, and development projects whose impacts are directly visible in the daily lives of both our customers and our specialists. In this role, you will get to solve challenging complexities, develop operating models, and bring new solutions into practice together with experienced colleagues.
In practice, you will:
Implement and coordinate new customer Mepco implementations
Build functional and scalable payroll solutions for customer needs
Develop payroll processes, automations, and operating models
Design integrations and ensure smooth data flows between different systems
Develop reporting and data-driven management solutions in close cooperation with our customers and our specialists
Solve challenging system and process questions for customers and payroll specialists
Share your expertise through documentation, training, and sparring

With us, you can build your workday to suit you, at the office or remotely. You are warmly welcome to our pleasant offices in Helsinki, Tampere, Turku, Salo, Kotka, and Lahti, or alternatively, you can work remotely from anywhere in Finland – and sometimes even from abroad. In Oulu, we have a modern coworking space. Our implementation and development team members work particularly in Tampere and Oulu and meet each other regularly in person as well.
The salary range for this position is €3900-4700/month depending on your background. The salary is the total salary including the holiday bonus portion, which is paid with us alongside the monthly salary.
What do we expect from you?
Strong Mepco expertise at a super-user level
Experience in project coordination or project management
A holistic understanding of payroll processes and system solutions
Fluent English language skills
A proactive and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as a desire to collaborate, spar others, and share expertise to achieve common goals
We consider the following as an advantage:
Experience with other payroll systems
Experience with implementations, integrations, or process development
A university degree in a relevant field
Experience in either a consulting environment or an in-house role
