Role Description The Elementary School Teacher will create and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that align with Montessori principles and the school’s curriculum for elementary-level students. Responsibilities include preparing classroom materials, guiding individual and group learning activities, assessing student progress, and maintaining a supportive and orderly learning environment. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues and families to support each learner’s academic, social, and emotional growth, and will participate in school meetings, professional development, and community events. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos State, Nigeria.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Teaching and Elementary Education, with a track record of supporting diverse learners. Experience in Curriculum Development and Education, including planning, implementing, and evaluating instructional programs. Effective Communication skills for engaging students, collaborating with colleagues, and partnering with families. Relevant teaching certification or qualification in Elementary Education, Montessori education, or a closely related field. Prior experience working in a Montessori or child-centered learning environment is an advantage. Ability to create inclusive, respectful, and culturally responsive classrooms. Strong classroom management, organizational skills, and commitment to ongoing professional growth.
